Kathren Murrell Stevenson, Ph.D., is a freelancer sharing classes, workshops, and retreats in Wisdom Ecology — reconnecting people with their inner wisdom voices, indigenous wisdom practices from around the world, and the wisdom of nature. She has served as an adjunct professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies, where she has taught classes such as Plants and People: Understanding the Plant World through Relationships, and The Ecology and Poetry of Trees. Committed to full-spectrum learning, Kathren designs curricula that speaks to the whole person, including intellect, heart-based wisdom, somatic understanding, and our interconnectedness in the web of life.
Kathren received her Bachelor’s degree in Biogeography and Botany from University of Texas at Austin and Ph.D. in Plant Ecology from University of California, Davis. Kathren is also Certified Yoga Teacher and Breema Bodywork Practitioner. She graduated from the Uptima program in 2015.
