Fyodor Ovchinnikov is co-founder and managing partner of the Institute for Evolutionary Leadership – a California-based social enterprise that builds leadership capacity in public, private, and social sectors to address world’s pressing challenges through cultural and institutional redesign. Besides that, as Lead Instructor, Mentor, and Board Member of Uptima Business Bootcamp and the main driving force behind Academy of Management’s prestigious Entrepreneurship Practice Award, Fyodor helps define and promote the role of entrepreneurship in creating a more just, sustainable, and flourishing world. Prior experience includes curriculum design and teaching at Lomonosov Moscow State University and educating 200+ executives, entrepreneurs, and business professionals in cultural intelligence through his Moscow-based company Center for Intercultural Communication.
Fyodor has a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Asian and African Studies, both with honors, from Lomonosov Moscow State University. He has also completed the Managing Teams for Innovation and Success program at Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Advanced Strategy Program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He graduated from the Uptima program in 2015.
