Marcus Thomas is founder of Marcus Alexander, a design-forward footwear brand, servicing those who demand exceptional design, but don’t want to sacrifice beauty or versatility. Marcus has over 5 years of experience in the fashion, casual and sport industries. He loves how shoes function as utility and art simultaneously, and how this duality can empower both self-expression and self-preservation. Prior to becoming a footwear designer, Marcus was a finance operations analyst for a leading education technology company.  

Marcus received his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Howard University and studied shoemaking at London College of Fashion.
