Lesa Hammond, Ph.D., is co-founder and CEO of ProfHire, a technology platform that connects higher education and training organizations with qualified people interested in teaching part-time. Lesa is an author, educator and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in human resources, including serving as the Chief Human Resources Officer for three universities. She has consulted with more than 40 companies nationwide on human resources and training. Her Thompson Twins book series is a middle grade reader to inspire inner city children to achieve their dreams. She is also the author of Achieve in 5! Achieve your dreams in just five minutes a day.
Lesa received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the Ohio State University, Master’s in Human Resources from Golden Gate University and Ph.D. in Transformative Learning and Change from California Institute of Integral Studies. She graduated from the Uptima program in 2015.
