Hannah Onstad is the founder of H2O Content Strategy—a content, design, and development company—and LOAKL.com, a new startup that helps customers buy books locally. She has more than 15 years experience leading development teams in education technology and trade book publishing. She is the former Vice President of Supplemental Web Environments for Pearson Education, where she produced a series of K-12 educational websites. Prior to that role, Hannah built strategic alliances in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors working with companies such as Apple, Adobe, and the Smithsonian Center for Learning and Digital Access. As Director of Marketing for Pearson based in the United Kingdom, she was responsible for marketing the Pearson Technology Group imprints across Europe, the Middle East & Africa.
Hannah received her Bachelor’s degree in Language, Culture, & Society from New College, the honors college of Florida, and has done graduate work in Media Studies at the New School. She graduated from the Uptima program in 2016.
