Aaron Joseph is the founder of Identafire, an Oakland-based, QPOC-owned graphic design and web development agency working with mission-driven, socially-impactful organizations. Specializing in completely custom WordPress themes and exceptional marketing collateral, Identafire offers an innovative subscription service for the daily design needs of marketing teams of organizations that are doing the most good in their communities and the world. Aaron is the former Creative Director of a newspaper group, overseeing the design and production of the San Francisco Bay Guardian, SF Weekly, and The Examiner. He is passionate about independent journalism, social justice, inclusivity in the design and technology sectors and has taught WordPress and Photoshop classes at the Bay Area Video Coalition and the North Oakland Senior Center, respectively.

Aaron received his Bachelor of Fine Art at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2006. He graduated from the Uptima program in 2018.
